Fun Opportunities!

Elementary Night at Bear Football: This Friday is Elementary Night with the MHS football team. Kids and one parent get free admission. The first 200 elementary students get a free shirt and bag of popcorn. Go Bears!

Elementary Volleyball Clinic with Bear Volleyball: Saturday, October 6th, MHS Volleyball will put on a camp for K-5th graders. See the attached flyer for details.

International Walk to School Day: Wednesday, Oct. 10th

Mayor Bill Lambert has signed up to do the Idaho Mayor's Step Challenge. He will be competing all month long against other mayors in the state of Idaho to see who can get the most steps. He earns extra steps towards his goal if he walks with children. There was such a great turn out for our walking school bus from Friendship Square to Russell Elementary last winter for the Polar Walk that we thought it would be great to do it again. Nora Locken of the Idaho Walk Bike Alliance will make sure students get to school on time and have a safe route. She will be accompanied by U of I student volunteers. Mayor Bill Lambert will be there to walk with your students as well! We are anticipating KLEW News and Moscow/Pullman Daily News to be at Friendship Square to cover the event. The details are as follows:

International Walk to School Day with Mayor Bill Lambert!

7:40: Volunteers will be on site at Friendship Square

7:45-7:55: Parents/guardians can drop-off students

8:00 Walking School Bus will depart and walk to Russell under the supervision of volunteers

8:10 to 8:15: Arrival at Russell School

Parents and younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun!
